HOUSE FOR DAYS AND SEASONS

The proposal is about introducing slight change. The factor may be trivial event that happen in the house, external things such as the weather or seasons, or both. Anyway, the house works as a white CANVAS that maximizes all these factors. Strictly symmetrical composition emphasizes any subtle difference, such as temperature, wind, light, smell and view. Top-lights toward 4 directions and spaces below them have totally different environment with light, temperature etc., and it is changing according to the movement of sun. All the perimeter space is basically identical, but they will be also varied with the season, weather or relationship with trees. Staircases that come underground are identical as well, then emphasize tiny difference of scenery. What does create the spatial experience made only by the relationship with surroundings ?? It is the architecture that has almost identical, strict formality but such strong form retreats within one’s recognition, and only “EXPERIENCE” appears in front. Andrea Palladio taught me such double paradox throughout the ages.
