LANDSCAPE GOES DOMESTIC

2021/10/9～10/22に行われたULTRA STUDIOによる個展、『LANDSCAPE GOES DOMESTIC』の内容をまとめた書籍。
展示されたドローイングや写真に加え、会期の最終日に行われたラファエル・バルボア、橋本圭央とULTRA STUDIOの座談会や、向山による文章「偶然の象徴」も収録。展覧会の紹介にとどまらない、ULTRA STUDIOの思想や作品性を紹介する一冊となっている。

書籍のデザインは展示のビジュアルデザインも手掛けたREFLECTA（岡﨑真理子＋田岡美紗子）と小林すみれが担当。
展示内容と呼応する造本により、本自体に作品の一部としての性格を与えた。

This book is a compilation of the contents of “LANDSCAPE GOES DOMESTIC”, a solo exhibition by ULTRA STUDIO held from 10/9 to 10/22, 2021. In addition to drawings and photographs, the book includes a roundtable discussion between Rafael Balboa, Tamao Hashimoto, and ULTRA STUDIO held on the last day of the exhibition, and a text by Yuji Mukaiyama titled “Symbols of Coincidence”. The book goes beyond a description of the exhibition to introduce ULTRA STUDIO's philosophy.

The book was designed by REFLECTA (Mariko Okazaki + Misako Taoka) and Sumire Kobayashi, who also worked on the visual design of the exhibition. The book itself was given a character as a part of the exhibition through a design that corresponds to the contents of the exhibition.
